Nothing special

It was pouring here today...pretty insane, considering that 2 days ago it was sunny and warm...

I'm really behind on Milan fashion week (although as everyone else I loved Jil Sander, Raf Simons is really talented), that's because I spent the week looking for apartments there...I know it's way too early to even think about it but I love real-estate and looking at houses and apartments...There's this great website where you get to see the actual street from all the angles (and I thank google earth for that) so it's like having a virtual trip in the city...I wonder what are the best neighborhoods to live in (I really want to find something nice, but let's face it, I'm a student...so I'll have to compromise :) )
If by any chance you're familiar with Milan , I would love to get some tips, like where to live, to go out, eat etc...

I don't really have any interesting outfit pictures, maybe because I haven't been out of the house for the most week, so I didn't dress up that much...but I do have some fotos a friend of ours took (thank you Eli) when we went out...I think he's really talented...
Outfit posts will come once the weather will get better and my boyfriend will agree to take pictures:)

Pink craze...

Since my main obsession for this summer right now is pink (well, actually blush but never mind), I decided to search my closet for some forgotten pieces that will fit into my pink mood...
And of course I found some. I do have one blush blouse I found in Zara last summer and a skirt I received from my boyfriend's sister, but I'm still dreaming of that Zara dress...and the shoes...
To comfort me I found some clothes that go with my pink mood...until I get my wishes :)

The skirt is made from my mother's old dress. I absolutely love the print on this and will keep it forever...The dress is one of the few she took with her to Israel. It is such a shame my mother left all of her clothes when we came here. I remember her 70's chiffon dresses, her wedding gown, beautiful skirts and shoes to die for, all of which went to the dumpster because we were restricted in weight...

Pretty flowers in the exact same color I love so much...

This picture was taken last summer, the first time I wore the skirt...Didn't have anyone around so I took the pic myself...and it's horrible:)

Good news

Well, I received an answer from Marangoni and I'm in!!! I hope this will be a wonderful experience for me and my boyfriend....:)

Today I'm wearing my uniform. Even if you have a closet full with great clothes, there are always a couple of outfits that you lean on and wear to death...

This is the case with this outfit: Zara dress, Castro cardigan, vintage Celine jacket and Mango boots. I don't remember where I got this scarf, I think it was Honigman...
On these days when I feel like I have nothing to wear (riiiight) I wear these clothes.

I went to Zara today and saw all the beautiful clothes "live" ...there were some disappointments but also some great finds. I fell in love with this pink dress from their "Studio" line...It's the prettiest light pink that can be worn in so many ways...I still left it at the store because it had a stain on it and there wasn't another one in my size...well maybe next time...

Not really fashion related

Well, Valentine's day is over and I hope everyone had a great weekend...It was such a lovely day here it was just impossible to stay at home and do nothing...we didn't do anything special or romantic, just spent the whole day together, went to the beach, got some sushi and that's about it...
And after such a lovely day, a new week is supposed to feel great but I just feel stuck. I always thought that if I won't work I'll have plenty of time for fashion and my website and blog...but what I discovered is that you kind of freeze and at some point loose the desire to do anything...Maybe it's because I always worked, even when I studied in two places, so I always felt busy and "on the move"...Anyway, enough ranting, I hope this feeling will go away and even more so I hope I will finally get a job, so I can feel more inspired and filled with energy...

Just some pics from yesterday...I always admire how so many other bloggers get really dressed up to the beach...I just can't do it...so this is as casual and plain as it gets for me :)

Zara

Zara's website was updated not so long ago and I was ecstatic...The colors, the shapes, the SHOES!!!
I have to admit I wasn't that exited when I visited the store a couple of days ago but the website makes me want to pop to the store every day to see if something new has arrived!
I just love the shoes: the yellow and purple shoes that have the most amazing shape....the nude shoes with laces in the front, the black pair with the ankle bracelet...I have to have all of them!
And also the color palette of the clothes: the peaches and the nudes are amazing and also the color clashes of blues pinks reds etc... I'm planning to get the peach jacket, or even the peach suit (if it will make its' way to Israel), the purple bubble skirt...the peach/nude dress I guess I am that easy...:)

Shoes shoes shoes

Being the irresponsible shoe maniac that I am, I wasn't surprised when I discovered that i bought 4 pairs of shoes (amongst other things) in time period of 2 weeks...Which could be ok if I wasn't between jobs right now...so my credit card is hidden in a safe place until it will be ok to shop again...:)

Well, what's done is done and I can only enjoy the shoes because they will be a great staples for summer...

Photobucket

the first pair is Chloe sandals I bought on Net-a-Porter and already showed here, the second pair are the most gorgeous pair of flats from Bottega Veneta. I just love the soft leather and the shape of these shoes...and they feel like slippers on your feet...

After indulging in designer shoes, I turned to my main source of shoes, which is Zara of course. It seems like they get better every season or maybe it's just me being dizzy from all the spring collections. But I also found something great on sale...!

First pair is sandals with a very high heel and laces...it looks great and will be one of my "go to" pairs this summer.

The second pair is a pair of pumps with wooden platform. I just fell in love with the shape and the texture of the leather...again, very practical and actually comfy...and it cost me 150 shekels (less than 40$)..

The straight version

Well, here's the straight version of the haircut...I actually had something simple in mind, but I guess this also works :)

It's a new world for me while dressing: everything looks so different with red, and I do like it...But before I discover bright colors like pinks and yellows etc...I wanted to go for darker calmer colors to show off the hair.

Mostly people go for this kind of drastic change while going through drastic changes in their lifes: like break ups etc'...I think that I did it because I want a change (mostly proffesionaly, my personal life is great as it is:) )...I know that new haircut won't bring it but maybe my state of mind will :)

I did it!!!

For a long time I wanted red short curly hair...But never had the courage to go for it...and so today I'm officially a redhead!:) Just Imagine all the color clashes and new looks I can create with this color....
I don't think I'll keep the curls because it's too much but I'll go for more natural look, or will straighten them...Anyway I'll post the photos of the original haircut soon:)

Net-a-Porter

I already wrote about it on my Hebrew website so I'm sorry if some of you will have to read twice about it...
But I'm so excited! Today I received my order from Net-a-Porter and the clothes are great! And it was a bargain...I ordered Helmut Lang dress, Malene Birger skirt and Chloe flat sandals...I hope these three items will be my staples this summer...I chose not to go for the crazy heeled shoes because as much as I love them, most of the time they're just standing in my closet and I wear them only when I go out or for some special occasion...especially in the summer when all I can think of is flat sandals- as open as possible...Maybe next time I will get some crazy shoes...:)

Color red

Red is a color I'm struggling with for years. I love it on other people, but not necessarily on myself.
That is why I hesitated when I bought this dress...actually it's from one of these sales where you buy 2 items and get third one for free (hate this kind of sales) but I loved the two items that I chose and was looking for the third one. After browsing a store for the tenth time I decided to get the same dress I chose in brow in a different color, which was red of course...
Last year I rarely wore it but this year I actually prefer the red over brown...I guess I'm becoming more and more like my grandmother, who adores everything red: shoes, dresses, jackets...you name it, she has it in red. She's actually very stylish, I'll post her outfits someday:)
