Vintage in Firenze

While wandering around the streets of Firenze, we stumbled upon this wonderful vintage shop named Pitti Firenze. Inside the shop looks like some old estate filled with clothes from it's previous owners.

Treasure chests, vintage furniture, pictures, chandeliers, flowers, dolls all added to the special vibe this shop has. Unfortunately as we found out from having a small chat with the owner, it was the last day of the shop at this location, as they were moving to a more central area. Im sure the new place will be great but I was so in love with the magic of the interior design and the merchandising.

Of course we dressed up and tried on clothes! Eventually I chose a vintage tulle blouse and Karen left with this golden knit which I'm sure will look so chic during the winter months!

The shop

To conclude this wonderful weekend courtesy of Luisaviaroma for bloggers, some pictures of the shop...

Wandering around the shop and trying things on was truly great, but even that was hard: so many things to love!

The bloggers

Yet again, double posting :)

There's not much to say, besides that it was great to meet bloggers and people who are genuinely interested in fashion and to have good conversations. Most of our time we spent with Caroline and her wonderful (and oh so funny) photographer Yulia, but managed to take some shots of other bloggers as well. some of them were known, some of them I didn't know about but it was nice to find out about them!

New design + some more outfits

I should have done it a long time ago, i get bored easily and changing styles with blogger templates is so easy, so there we go :)

More pictures from day 2, where I got to try on amazing Herve Leger dress. I always thought the label was too sexy and tacky (all the Hollywood starlets being the example). However you just can't fight the feeling of fabulousness you get when you put this dress on!!! It hugs you in all the right places and smoothes everything that shouldn't be seen. I truly felt glamorous! There could be only one shoe label I could think of to wear it with: the Louboutins of course! True, it is not the most original outfit, but I think that every girl should try those items once...

The second outfit was the total opposite: Eudon Choi jacket with Rocco Pistolesi shoes. It would me my perfect fall outfit!!! The jacket is quite severe but still classic and the shoes would go with everything!!! It was so much fun trying the clothes on but it was also hard to leave them at the store!!!

Firenze4ever!!!

I had one of the best weekends ever at Luisaviaroma 10th anniversary online celebrations!

I still have to process and recuperate, as I just came back from Firenze today. I already have some great pictures up on Fashionista.co.il
Still, I will do some "double posting", so I apologize in advance to those of you who visit both.
At the store's "Styling Lab" we had the opportunity to dress up in the newest arrivals from the 2010/2011 fall collections. For me and my friend it was like a Disneyland. We browsed through amazing dresses, structured coats, luxurious fabrics, and shoes...oh the shoes :)

First we went for Lanvin clothes, because we wanted to show our appreciation to this wonderful fashion house and it's designer. Lanvin clothes fit everyone perfectly, there is something about those dresses that makes every woman look good in them. Then we went for some less recognizable labels such as Jean Pierre Braganza and Jo No Fui just because these are great labels of a very good quality and it was great discovering them!

Another great find: Camilla Skovgaard shoes: so comfy, I really want a pair for winter!
the only hard part was taking pictures in the horrible heat. I still can't understand how we jumped in coats when it was 30 degrees outside...:)
Still taking pictures was a lot of fun and I can't wait to receive the proffesional version from the photographer.
