Butterfly sisterhood

The heat is here! The jackets need to be stacked in the back...

Photobucket

I won't need them until the big move
(wich is closer and closer and I have done nothing yet!) It's weird to think that the next time I will wear my boots and coats, it will be in Milan...Which brings the next question: How the heck am I supposed to bring my entire wardrobe including tens of pairs of shoes (after serious editing that is) in one tiny 20 kilo suitcase?

This is the only thing that bothers me right now, more than anything else...Leave the apartment, the bills, the furniture, the food, visa, insurance...who needs them? I need my clothes!!!

Photobucket

On that note, I am now enjoying summer (for now) and the sunshine...It's not painfully hot right now, just really nice and sunny...
I have yet to visit the beach, but I'm planning to do so tomorrow...:)

Photobucket

This light and sunny dress is a gift from Cala (they have really great girly and sweet dresses there) I received last week at their new collection presentation. Thank you Adi and Noa! I got the white version, while Dar got the black...you can see hers here!

Photobucket

While it can be dressed up or down, I decided to take it to the "middle ground" by playing with the most "summery" accessory there is: a straw fedora...:)

Pile on some colorful bangles, nude platforms and a bright handbag...and I'm ready to enjoy the sun!:)

Light and airy

I have to admit I'm on some sort of shopping craze right now, although physically I didn't do much shopping, I put bids on some stuff on Ebay, and I did two shopping trips this month, so I should probably stop, but no...I have these shoes waiting for me at Mango..And a little package from theOutnet.com :)
Maybe it's a pre birthday craze, but my birthday is one month away...I guess I just will have to skip shopping next month...:)

Photobucket

This skirt was a bargain for 30 shekels (like 7$) and I just love the light and airy colors it has...I first thought to pair it with a simple white tank top and some strappy sandals, but when we took pictures, it was evening and the lighting was leaning towards pinks and warm colors, so I just went with it...

Photobucket

I'm actually still testing the skirt, and never wore it out (it's quite new) yet...I love how the different colors allow me to play with different tops and accessories...

The pearls are two different necklaces, first are fake pearls but they are one of the most precious jewels I own: they are my mother's wedding pearls...
The longer string are actual pearls , I received them from my mother for my 24th birthday...

Jumping jumping

Wow...Busy busy busy...There is just not enough time to do everything, and to catch some sleep...something I probably should be doing right now, since I have to wake up at 7 in the morning...

Photobucket

But at least today was nice..started with getting my U.S. visa and waking at 6 in the morning because of it. Yay! Now I only have to find time and finances for the trip...then I met Dar at Cala presentation where we saw some great dresses and actually got one as a gift...mine is white with a huge colorful butterfly on it...I will feature it in my next post...Too bad I had to get to work by 3...

I wonder if my craving for clothes will ever end..each time I see new piece that I fall madly in love with...like this jumpsuit. I told about it before, and it seems to me like a perfect summer piece: light fabric great cut and it doesn't require thinking too much in the morning...also, the color is great and it allows me to play around with different accessories and shades...

This outfit reminds me of the term "jetsetter": that glamorous lady who travel for fun, see amazing places, meet many people and generally live quite an extraordinary life...so I kind of stepped into the role a little bit in this jumpsuit, it's just how it makes me feel :)

Have a great weekend guys! Kisses!

My new Chanel

I had a hell of the week, with very stressful days at work and the only highlight was meeting Dar and doing some shopping and catching up...

I have to say that this week will teach me to remember that no matter what I will do with my life and how many people will work under me (if at all), it is important to respect your employees, even when you're stressed! The bottom line, my boss is responsible for a very stressful weekend...Sorry but I just have to rant...

Photobucket

And now to a much more pleasant stuff: While in Tel Aviv with Dar, we visited one of my favorite vintage shops, Stella. Ayelet, the owner almost immediately showed me this wonderful jacket that I just couldn't leave at the shop...The perk: it's vintage/secondhand Chanel!

Photobucket

Quite pricey, it is a really early birthday present to myself, and I hope it will get a lot of wear, as it proved to be really versatile.

This time I decided to pair it with a light girly dress, just to see the contrast between the constructed jacket and the flowy chiffon...and it was soo hot I couldn't bear the thought of trying on anything else. But I totally see it with white buttoned up shirt, structured dresses and etc...or even flowered ones!

I hope everyone is going to have a great and stress free week !

A quick update

I wasn't into blogging and internet in general this week, mainly because I spent the last week stalking after my boyfriend who is abroad again...and will stay there for a very long time, so I just hope he'll get back for my birthday...

Photobucket

Yesterday I did some bargain shopping which turned up to be a success with 8 garments for 250 shekels (about 60$)...And another surprise purchase that was not cheap and deserves a post of it's own...I consider it an early bithday gift for myself...But, I will show it here later :)

Photobucket

This is a short experiment I did with clashing patterns, at my grandmother's place...:) The dress is super light and sheer and it saved me from the heat on those days when all you want is to walk around in your bathing suit. Not too complicated or interesting but really fun to wear...Much more interesting outfits are coming soon!

Going out

Photobucket

Photobucket

This is what I wish I wore last night out...Only instead, this amazing jacket (which was a steal for 100 shekels) is resting peasfully in my closet, while I chose to wear a simple grey cardigan...

Photobucket

Not that I dislike cardigans, but I just wish I could find some place appropriate for my jacket! Maybe if I was living in a big city I could take it out more often, but not here...

Photobucket

These are the cropped pants I talked about, they have a great cut and the fabric is really nice, and they fit like a glove! I'm really happy I got them...

Photobucket

Just some pictures my boy took while in NY, I bet there are many places where I could wear this jacket, even during the day...
I think these pics are quite amazing...

Pink and blue

These days fashion is not on my mind, because my boy is back, though only for a week and then he takes off again...so between the work and going out and spending time with the boyfriend (and also having one of the worst hangovers ever!) I had a little time to take pictures...
I'm into the whole "light and airy" mood lately so this sheer blouse and the perfect light pink skirt (thank you Ira!) are doing the work for me...

Photobucket

I just couldn't resist pairing the outfit with my Bottega Veneta! I have to say that they are the most comfortable shoes ever, but I love them so much that I rarely take them out: afraid of wearing them out too soon or damaging them. I know it's silly!

Photobucket

Photobucket

the inside photos are a little experimentation, so bear with me :)

Photobucket

Also, I bought 2 pieces that I was looking for a long time ago and where? Honigman (Israeli fashion label) of all places! My mom usually shops there and they do have some nice clothes and cuts, but I couldn't imagine I would find the perfect jumper and the perfect cropped pants there! This only teaches me once again to be open minded about my shopping spots:)
I will surely feature them in the blog soon!

I hope everybody will have a great weekend! Kisses!

Floral thoughts

Oh man, it's really hard to concentrate on clothing these days...I'm receiving so many news, things keep changing and generally it's a little bit of loaded period for me...

Photobucket

This is why it was important for me to lighten things up with this easy breezy floral skirt (it's not its' first appearance here but I love it sooo much!) and a light top... I know all the fashion media (including us bloggers) keep talking about spring trends, but when it comes to flowers, there's nothing new: this skirt was made from my mom's dress (there was no way to alter it to a different dress), and she bought it in the early 90's...

Photobucket

Photobucket

First I decided to play dress up and add this pretty hat that was a bargain at Zara for 25 shekels...it doesn't go out much as you can guess, so I decided to feature it here...
But without a hat it is a perfect summer outfit that I'm sure I will live in...

Photobucket

Well, I'm off to enjoy a quiet day, before the beginning of the week full of stuff to do and people to meet and of course work work work...:)
